Problem:
Variis (now Equinox+) launched in 2020 and my work there included helping build the app from scratch - with the design system, the feature offerings, and creating strong value propositions for users and more. The team needed to then combine the app with the Equinox user app and create a home page that optimized the experience for in-club members and at home workout members.

Solution:
Working with a team that included two designers, a PM, and engineers, we brainstormed multiple solutions and iterations based of extensive research understanding user needs, jobs to be done and the most important aspects to keep users coming back. The end resulted in a new Home screen shown in the images that focused on easy check-in, creating scheduling and goals that users can check on regularly, and included personalized marketing moments.

Process + Role:
As a Product Designer on this project I heavily focused on the UX as well as the UI. Making sure the designs were engaging and photo-centric but also making sure that we were optimizing the key flows and buttons that users were using regularly and depended on for engagement such as easy access to the "check-in" button, easy access to quick actions buttons and clear ways to see what was up next on their schedule.
